This foundational oil painting class will start with burnt umber block-ins (under paintings) for value rehearsal. Then we will match color to value as we proceed with 2nd and 3rd passes over the paintings and bring up to a finish with highlights added last. Shelly will provide references and demonstrations for oil painting techniques in paint-a-long sequence.
